About

In 2020 I set up a music project called Broken Old Bones, for a bit of fun during the pandemic. As I joined Facebook to post some of the tracks recorded, I noticed an advert looking for a person to review metal bands. This took me on a journey that led to Rocked To The Bones, being set up in 2022, to support the rock and metal music scene, providing news, reviews and interviews. The aim is to focus mainly on smaller bands in the hope that it will get them the attention they deserve.

Our Journey

September 2022 - Rocked To The Bones set up producing a digital magazine dedicated to rock & metal.​

July 2023 - We take a break to re-evaluate.​

22 June 2024 - Rocked To The Bones is back on Facebook and Instagram doing daily reviews, quickly followed by the reintroduction of our YouTube channel.​

1 September 2024 - We launch the new website with direct links to all our social media and the ability to publish reviews straight to site.​

13 October 2024 - Threads is added to our range of social media platforms.
